Adjustment of Status is
the processes by which certain foreign nationals that are already in
the US to apply for status as a permanent resident of the US (also
known as getting a green card) without having to leave the country.
Qualifying Individuals apply through the US Citizenship and
Immigration Service (USCIS). Immediate relatives of US citizens may
adjust status (get a green card) even if they have worked without
permission or overstayed their permitted time in the US. To be
eligible a person must have entered the US legally.
APVisa provides adjustment
of status services to the following categories of immediate
relatives:

For US citizens:
Spouse Parent Unmarried child under 21 years of age Brother or sister (with approved visa
petition)
· For US permanent Residents: Son or daughter (with approved visa
petition) Please note that there are other eligible
categories, but we limit our services to the above.
